Introduction

JALSEWA is a digital platform designed to manage water supply connections, billing records, and service communication between administrators and consumers. This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is collected, used, and protected.

  • Gender
  • Login credentials

Identity Verification

To ensure that water services correspond to the correct residential location, the platform may request Aadhaar information for address verification.

Payments

Payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways such as Razorpay. The platform does not store card numbers or banking credentials.

Data Storage

Data Retention

Eligible personal data will be deleted within 30 days of a verified account deletion request, subject to records that must be retained for legitimate accounting, legal, security, or service-related purposes.

Account Deletion

Users may request deletion of their JALSEWA account through the account deletion option available within the application.

After a verified deletion request, eligible personal information associated with the account will be deleted within 30 days. Certain information, including billing, payment, transaction, accounting, security, or other records, may be retained where necessary to comply with applicable legal requirements or to protect legitimate service and security interests.

Children's Privacy

JALSEWA is intended for individuals aged 18 years or older. The platform is not intended for, or directed toward, individuals under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18 through the application.

If we become aware that personal information has been provided by an individual under 18, we will take reasonable steps to review and remove such information where appropriate.
